The story of Captain by the Bay Design and Boutique begins in 2011 in Cabo Verde. The name “Captain” honors Dino, who has been the Steamship Authority’s captain for over three decades. Dino is a fashionista who loves designing clothes and advising about Dino Ramos starting and selling perfumes, electronics, and watches in Brava. Risa was working with the Department of Finance in Brava.
